InnovaNet Group team member Jo Ann Hooper has been named an ASQ-Certified Quality Auditor by the Certification Board of the American Society for Quality (ASQ). This designation means she has reached a significant level of professional recognition, indicating a proficiency in and a comprehension of auditing principles and practices. Individuals who earn the certification are allowed to use “ASQ CQA” on their business cards and professional correspondence.
“ASQ provides certification as a way to formally recognize professionals who have demonstrated an understanding of and a commitment to quality techniques and practices in their job and career,” explains Jim Rooney, ASQ Chair. “This is a great accomplishment and represents a high level of peer recognition.
In order to sit for the Certified Quality Auditor examination, an individual must have eight years of work or experience related to the Body of Knowledge. Certified Quality Auditor is a professional who understands the standards and principles of auditing and the auditing techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting to determine a quality system’s adequacy and deficiencies.
